Heaters from Caldwell are designed to work with axial, centrifugal, or in-line fans. There are upstream and downstream models of Caldwell heaters that run on natural gas, liquid propane, or vapor propane.
Designed to reduce turbulence, the Caldwell transitions have galvanized housing.
Caldwell Flush Floor Systems are individually tailored for every unique use. Select from a range of options including a panel grate system, corrugated sheeting system, or Channellock plank system, all designed to suit your specific requirements. These systems come in various sizes, with widths up to 10', and feature perforations to allow unimpeded airflow.
Caldwell also offers custom designs to ensure optimal airflow. For heavier loads, panel grates with I-beam supports, featuring a perforated web, are available. These flush floor systems are manufactured with modular components, making installation a breeze.
Caldwell Channellock floor systems are designed to preserve the optimal quality of your grain. All Channellock floor planks are constructed from galvanized steel and manufactured with meticulous precision to ensure a proper fit, structural integrity, and adequate airflow.
The floor systems offer two perforation sizes (0.094" or 0.050") to accommodate the specific drying and conditioning needs of your commodity. The 0.094" perforated floor planks are available in 16-, 18-, or 20-gauge material options, allowing Caldwell floors to handle grain depths of up to 110 ft.
To support the floors, you have the choice of airframe or Channellock supports, suitable for both 13" and 17" floor applications. Channellock supports are made of 16- or 18-gauge galvanized material, providing reliable reinforcement.
Chief holds the sole distribution rights for Perforated Flooring in all available sizes. When combined with Chief Bins and Caldwell Fans, this comprehensive system ensures swift installation and long-term preservation of your grain.
In regions where canola or other small seed crops are included in the crop rotation, the 0.050" perforated flooring option is widely favored for flat bottom bins. This flooring type boasts an open area of 15.69% and is ideal for efficient aeration.
For the effective cooling and drying of corn, sunflowers, and other large seed crops, the 0.094" floor is the optimal selection. With an additional 16.75% open area, the 0.094" flooring facilitates the circulation of a substantial amount of hot air at an affordable cost.
Our floors feature shallower corrugations, which greatly simplify the process of cleaning out your bin. Unlike other floors with deeper corrugations that make bin sweeping more challenging, our design allows bin sweeps to thoroughly clean the floor. With other floors, grain tends to get trapped and pushed down, resulting in extended sweeping time. Our all-sizes flooring, on the other hand, ensures a quick and straightforward cleaning process.
The Syntiro support system represents the latest advancement in aeration floor support technology. Its rapid connections and extensive spans ensure a swift and effortless installation process. Engineered to optimize airflow efficiency, the Syntiro system requires only half the usual number of support rows.
Despite the reduced number of supports, the all-size floors supported by Syntiro can withstand significantly greater loads compared to similar support systems. Following installation, the flooring seamlessly rests on the support without the need for snapping, resulting in quicker installation times. The supports are 11 5/8" tall, providing ample space for auger tunnels.
One of Syntiro's noteworthy features is its locking mechanism, which enables swift connections and imparts strength and stability without any movement. When overlapping supports, our spring steel clips securely hold them together. The clip-on features jagged teeth that firmly grip the metal, ensuring a secure lock that prevents accidental detachment during installation.
The ribbed flashing, available in a 20" size, is designed to accommodate smaller diameter bins with a splice and larger bins without a splice. The presence of perforated ribs ensures consistent airflow and provides extra strength when using a bin sweep.
The "T" track flashing serves as a connection between your all-size floor and any flat surface, such as auger clean-out tunnels and pits.
Floor support options:
All vents install easily and are designed to minimize build-up of ice and foreign material.
